HIGH COUNTRY RIDE DAY ONE

Our Victorian high country motorbike ride starts from Bright, you can either choose to stay with us on Friday night or travel up early on Saturday morning. We get away early, so nearly all riders come up Friday night.

There are so many different routes we can take, the first few hours of the ride is used to ascertain the abilities of the riders on the tour. Don’t worry if you’re an experienced rider you won’t be held back by a rider with less experience. You’ll still experience the creek crossings, the majestic views, challenging tracks and have a great time, this ride is more like an enduro type motorbike ride.

Lunch and refreshments will be supplied and enjoyed at an idyllic location. Along the way we’ll visit some iconic Victorian High Country locations, which may include the Pinnacles Look-Out, Wonnangatta Station area and the famous Billy Goats Bluff track. After a ride of approximately 200kms we will arrive at Saturday nights accommodation in Dargo, just in time for a beer. As part of your tour package you’ll receive beverages on Friday/Saturday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday/Sunday.

HIGH COUNTRY RIDE DAY TWO

After a good sized cooked breaky, make sure you eat every last bit because you’ll need it. The Sunday ride is a big day, with plenty of challenges and spectacular sites along the way. With all manner of routes we can take, the Sunday ride will still encounter many creeks, steep terrain and breathtaking views.

Lunch and refreshments will once again be supplied in the bush at another idyllic location. Our travel route varies, we may visit the Howitt Plains, what you can be assured of is plenty of scenic challenging tracks which will test the seasoned rider. You’ll become an expert at creek and river crossings, which if a hot day will become a welcomed spot to cool off. As mentioned before this High Country ride is ideally sorted for bikes up to the size and weight of a KTM 690. We refer to the riding as enduro/adventure riding. We’ve taken KTM 300/350/450, Husaberg 350/450 and Honda 450 on this ride and they loved it.

The Sunday route will allow us to arrive back at Bright at a reasonable hour so you can pack your bike and gear and get back home at before Monday arrives.
