BOOKING NAMES & INFORMATION
It is your responsibility to provide accurate and correct names and contact information in our online booking form.
PAYMENT
All motorcycle tours require full payment up-front to secure your spot on the tour.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Any cancellation of a tour must be received in writing and will become effective on the date the notice is received by Mile Munchin’ Adventures.
The following cancellation terms apply:
- If you cancel more than 30 days prior to departure a full refund we be supplied.
- If you cancel between 30 and 7 days prior to departure, a 50% refund will be given.
- If you cancel within 7 days prior to departure, a NO refund will be given.
If you are unable to travel on a set date but still intend on doing a tour with Mile Munchin Adventures please inform us immediately and we will review the situation to see if we can transfer you to another date. This is not guaranteed and the above conditions remain in place, unless other arrangements are agreed to by Mile Munchin’ Adventures.
If you fail to meet at the designated starting point of the tour at the prescribed date and time, Mile Munchin’ Adventures will treat your reservation as a no show. Your spot on the tour will be treated as vacant. No refund or alternate date will be provided.
COVID LOCKDOWNS
If you book a tour and we are put into a COVID driven lock-down and either the tour can’t go ahead or you can’t make the tour. Then you will given two options, one you can take a full refund. Or two, you can move your ride to another Mile Munchin Adventures tour. If possible we will endeavour to move the tour to a new date.
PRICING
All pricing is in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified. We also reserve the right to pass on any additional taxes, charges, levies or fees etc that are unforeseen new costs at any time, including after your departure.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Packages relate to specific tour dates and rides. Packages will normally include, for instance the Great Otway Tour includes a twin person tent for each person. The High Country Cruise and Little Desert Dust Up tours include shared accommodation, meals as outlined in the tour details, fuel (if specified), lead and sweep rider, camera man, support vehicle, mechanical support and first aid.

CHANGES OF ITINERARY
Because we cannot control the weather, the designated route may require change because of poor conditions, (muddy, unrideable, poor visibility, snow, tree fallen) Mile Munchin’ Adventures will endeavour to adhere to the promoted itinerary however, due to the nature of our tours (predominantly motorcycle tours & adventure) itineraries may, and can, change at anytime, even during the tour. We reserve the right to amend, delete sections or even cancel your booking at any time.
The Tour leader has the authority to alter the tour as deemed necessary in order to operate the tour in a safe manner. The tour leader has the authority to declare a participant to be unsafe or unfit to ride with his/her word being final.
MOTORBIKE MAINTENANCE
It is the responsibility of you, the rider to make sure your bike is in great working order and the following items have been checked and are in near perfect condition pre-ride.
- Sprockets front and rear
- Chain
- Tyres (plenty of tread for muddy, slippery conditions)
- Heavy duty tubes installed (front and rear). We strongly recommend Ultra Heavy Duty tubes for the High Country Tours.
- Brake Fluid front and back brakes
- Cable check for clutch (not all motorbikes)
- Clutch fluid
Don’t underestimate the importance of checking these items, for the sake of a great ride for yourself and the rest of the tour group, don’t be the wally that holds up the entire group because you were too lazy to check your motorbike.
TOUR GUEST BEHAVIOUR
Mile Munchin’ Adventures will not tolerate any verbal or physical violence against the tour operators and their guests. If an individual or group becomes verbally or physically offensive the police will be contacted.
ACCOMMODATION
As tours are adventurous in nature, accommodation is of the basic clean and comfortable range (eg normally 2-3 star or above). All accommodation will be clean and comfortable to the best of our ability and knowledge. However, as these are provided by a third party, sometimes remote areas, we cannot guarantee quality at all times. Properties, in general, will have hot showers, bedding, towels, and western toilets and toilet paper.
MOTORCYCLE LICENSE
Motorcycle riders must have a valid motorbike license which allows them to ride in Australia, learners permit license are allowed.
SAFETY
All participants must wear appropriate protection gear, including helmet, motorcycle boots, pants, jacket, armour, gloves and goggles or helmet with visor.
Riding a motorbike is inherently dangerous, by partaking in a motorcycle tour, you and your travelling party unreservedly acknowledge the risks involved (which may include death) and acknowledge fully that Mile Munchin’ Adventures will not be liable directly or indirectly for any direct or indirect loss, financial loss, consequential loss, loss of enjoyment, opportunity cost, pain and suffering, damage, injury, accident delay or delay resulting from participating in one or more Mile Munchin’ Adventure tours.
Our tour leaders are first aid trained and carry emergency first aid kits, which can be used in non-critical situations eg: minor cuts abrasions etc. In serious situations when a rider requires medical attention, we will engage the services of the Australia emergency services. It is imperative you have your ambulance cover or you will receive a very large invoice for the privilege of riding in a helicopter or ambulance. If you are an overseas visitor you will require travel insurance, unless you insist on making your own arrangements at your own expense. If medical evacuation is required from a remote area Mile Munchin’ Adventures will engage our medical evacuation partners.
Due to the many of the areas that our tours travel to communication, whether that be Internet, mobile or land line, can be unreliable therefore Mile Munchin’ Adventures takes no responsibility for the lack of communication. A satellite phone and personal locater device will be carried and used if needed.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
All participants in our tours must have Ambulance Cover or if you are an international visitor to Australia, travel insurance. Make sure it covers you for off-road motorcycle riding.
It is a condition of the reservation that all international riders obtain adequate comprehensive travel insurance which covers such things as cancellation, medical emergency and loss of luggage. Insurance should be taken out at time of paying your deposit.
Due to the primary nature of the tours being riding motorcycles it is important to be aware all travel insurances to the best of our knowledge will not provide personal liability or third-party property damage whilst in charge of a motorised vehicle which includes motorcycles. You will be personally responsible for all damage and injury caused by you and the vehicle you were in control of and that you indemnify Mile Munchin’ Adventures from any liability directly or indirectly relating or arising from said damage or injury.
RESPONSIBILITY
Mile Munchin’ Adventures shall not be liable for any acts, omissions or defaults whether negligent or otherwise, of any service providers. Mile Munchin’ Adventures shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, delay or inconvenience resulting directly or indirectly from circumstances outside Mile Munchin’ Adventures control.
Mile Munchin’ Adventures to the best of its knowledge provides information regarding services and products that is supplied to us from various sources such as the weather apps or accommodation provider. Due to the changing nature of services and facilities, Mile Munchin’ Adventures shall not be liable for any errors or omissions caused by the service provider.
WAIVER AGREEMENT
Before your tour Mile Munchin’ Adventures will require you to sign a “Release of Liability, covenant not to sue, Waiver Agreement”. This will be sent to you as a PDF with the Final Instructions and will need to be signed and supplied to Mile Munchin’ Adventures prior to the tour leaving.
